David Brownstein is Of Counsel to the firm. He represents creditors, small business, and individuals, who are involved in any aspect of bankruptcy or financial disputes as well as in state-court business litigation. With over 25 years of experience practicing law in California, he brings a background in bankruptcy, financial and business litigation to handle cases of high complexity for both creditors and debtors alike.

David began his career as an associate at one of the preeminent Chapter 11 firms in California and worked on several “brand name” Chapter 11 reorganization cases in California, Nevada and Delaware. David also handled the preference litigation case portfolios of a large national home-goods retailer out of the Bankruptcy Court of Delaware, as well as a specialty grocery chain in California.

David is admitted to practice in California and Washington, D.C., (though currently inactive in D.C.). He primarily practices in front of the United States Bankruptcy Courts in the Central District (Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Riverside, Santa Ana, and Santa Barbara) and the Southern District (San Diego). He also handles select cases in Northern California, as well as the Bankruptcy Courts of other states.
